Choice of Apartment: because we endeavour, for all our guests' convenience, to offer flexible arrival/departure dates for any length of stay, at any time of year then the choice of Apartment (should guests express a particular preference) cannot be guaranteed. We will of course note guests' requests but Apartment allocation, particularly for short breaks, will need to be made according to the pattern/demands of our booking system.

Parking

There is ample free car parking space on the private drive between the Castle and paddock.

Booking Conditions

A deposit of one third of the total rent due is payable upon booking, and the balance is payable ten weeks before the commencement date of the holiday. If reservations are made within ten weeks of the commencement date, the total rent is payable upon booking. In the event of cancellation, we will endeavour to re-let the Apartment, but if unsuccessful, we reserve the right to the full cost of the holiday. Holiday cancellation insurance facilities at moderate cost are available if required.
Tenancies generally begin from 5pm and end by 10am on the morning of departure. (Arrangements can sometimes be made for other convenient times.)
We ensure that each Apartment is thoroughly clean, comfortable and warm to welcome your arrival, and guests are asked to keep their Apartment clean and tidy during their stay and to clean it on departure. Household cleaning equipment and materials are provided.
The number of persons in an Apartment must never at any time exceed its stated maximum capacity. In order to preserve the peace and tranquillity of all our guests, only those persons booked (and as on Reservation Form) are allowed into an Apartment. We regret that visiting friends are not allowed. The accommodation is not available for any groups or student parties etc.
Smoking and candles are discouraged.
Because of the very nature of the Grade II* Listed Castle and the Grounds, we regret that Apartments are unsuitable for the infirm (they are inaccessible to wheelchairs).
In order to preserve tranquillity for all our guests, we much regret that children are not accepted.
We regret that pets are not permitted.
