The pathway structure comprehensively embraces all of the unique features of this small estate including the enchanting woodland walks leading to the relatively gentle climb of the ‘Mountain Walk’ to the top of our own mountain with its highly rewarding panoramic views which embrace the countryside for miles around including Caernarfon Bay, the Isle of Anglsey, Puffin Island, Conway Bay and the Llanberis Valley including Mount Snowdon. This view captures the essence of north Wales’ natural beauty. “Perhaps in the whole world there is no region more picturesquely beautiful” George Borrow.

The mountain stream that runs through the lower part of the grounds negotiates several ornamental pools each with its own gracious and unique sylvan setting, including an eighty foot long lakelet which is surrounded and sheltered by trees. The flowering trees and shrubs, the graceful sweep of lawns, the pools and tumbling streams running through our glens, the faint rustling of the breeze through the trees combined with the fine statuary, all blend to create a wonderfully calm and relaxing environment for those guests who seeking relaxation from daily stresses and pressures. This natural environment is for the enjoyment of all our guests who are welcome to freely wander amidst this haven of natural beauty.

The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth,
One is nearer God's heart in the garden
Than anywhere else on earth.
